Bangor Chess Club is currently on a summer break:
The last session of the Bangor Chess Club academic year was on Wednesday the 31st of May 2023 due to the bank holiday held on the previous Monday.
NB: Unfortunately there will now be no more club nights until the start of the new university academic year in September 2023. This is because the room we are currently using is not available during the University summer vacation.
The club organisers will be in touch in around September 2023 nearer to the time that the venue becomes available to be used again. The club secretary Peter has already communicated via the club mailing list that he will be in touch if anything interesting crops up over the summer. There is a possibility of some intermittent events occurring in the summer such as an a casual meetup to play in people’s houses. Peter will keep the mailing list in the loop if this type of event happens.
